A strange set of years has come and gone since the last time I updated this blog. I admit, I have not been keeping up with it, but I am hoping to return and keep this site updated properly! In the last two years, I have gone through a range of artistic work. I recently completed a brand new illustration series titled I Dream of Dragons, featuring a set of four illustrations that explore the theme of spirituality through connecting nature and elements with a hint of magical dragon influence. I can not help my love and adoration for dragons! These illustrations were a delight to work on as each developed a life and personality of their own. They connected with parts of my past and self in a way that was very refreshing to illustrate. I look forward to the moment when inspiration soars and I complete another set of these elemental dragons to share with you all. The second set of illustrations I am very pleased to share with you are my new Therian Illustrations! These illustrations use a circle and triangle design to represent our inner animal natures within our human self and how these inner guides connect with a range of symbols to create guiding influences and inspirations. Each animal is surrounded by a plant or tree, an element, and a crystal or mineral that compliments and enhances their meanings in a rich and full way. These illustrations are the beginning of a new Oracle deck that will be available for sale upon completion of the illustrations. As of now, the first six illustrations are available for view and another set is being worked on. Want your own spirit guide represented? Order your own Therian Illustration, choosing your own set of attributes, and it will be made into a card in the final deck with it's own info sheet and a special print for you! These illustrations have been an absolute delight and I am fully excited to push my skills concerning realism, research, and representation.
